Hi, I’m Danielle, the heart behind Crate 55.

Inspired by my dad’s old 1955 truck, “Chuggaboom,” and my love of all things vintage, I create pieces that are sentimental, storied, and made to be loved for years to come. Alongside our handcrafted crates and signs, I also offer vintage‑inspired apparel and accessories to bring that old soul vibe into everyday life.

Every crate starts in my little workshop, where it’s designed, cut, and sanded by hand—no factories, no shortcuts. To speed things up, my husband jumps in to help build the boxes, and I finish them off with distressing that gives each piece its perfectly imperfect, vintage charm.

Crate 55 is my way of sharing everything I love about the past—perfectly imperfect, a little playful, and nostalgic AF.
